RUSSNEFT THIRD AGE SOCIAL PROJECT FOR THE OLDER PEOPLE CELEBRATES ITS 5TH ANNIVERSARY

Within the framework of  the charitable program, OAO Saratovneftegaz (PJSC “RussNeft” subsidiary, included into SAFMAR Industrial and Financial Group of Mikhail Gutseriev) and the regional ministry of social development performed a traditional project named Third Age, attributed to International Day of Older Persons. Above 100 older people from the majority of village municipal districts and regional center received an opportunity to spend three days in popular Rovesnik health center built by Saratov oil men on the picturesque Volga waterside in Marksovsky district in 1986. This event, held in this format for the 5^th time, is targeted at supporting social and vulnerable categories of population, increasing the status of the veterans and older persons, promoting active and healthy lifestyle for older persons and enhancing family traditions and generation ties.
The participants of this charitable and socially significant project were provided with comfortable rooms in heated campuses, 4 meals per day, as well with all the necessary conditions so that each person could reveal his/her creative potential. Older people enjoyed the ride in a horse-driven carriage, cycle vehicles and scooters, performed their favorite songs, and participated in funny contests, quizzes and competitions. Besides, the organizers prepared rich cultural program for the guests, they also saw performances of children from Junior School of Arts No.1, Marks junior circus Art-Alle, as well as popular Saratov performers.
OAO Saratovneftegaz veterans were also among the people who spent their vacation in Rovesnik, it is not only those who contributed much into establishment and development of one of the major and respected entities of oil and gas industry in the Volga region, but those who also directly participated in construction of the junior camp Rovesnik in the middle of the 80-s of the last century.
The 100^th Anniversary of establishment of the All-Union Lenin Youth Communist Council, celebrated on October 29, became the keynote theme of the 5^th Third Age. This popular organisation gave a start in life to a number of heroes and established efficient initiatives in the history of the country, and the young age of practically each and every participant of the project is closely related to this organisation.
Together with the recreational and arts program the older people could get legal advice in relation to issues of their interest, issues connected with pension provision, medical procurement, social support and occupation.  
Managers of OAO Saratovneftegaz and regional ministry of social development personally congratulated the major participants of the project, leading active lifestyle.
It is worth mentioning, that recently Rovesnik has become a cultural center, holding a lot of events on regional, inter regional and international scale on account of charitable funds of PJSC “RussNeft”, Saratovneftegaz, its subsidiary, as well as SAFMAR charity fund. Their participants are mainly people from the families with low income, as well as talented young people, people from village and city schools of arts, participants of arts, dance, theatre and vocal studios of city and district cultural centers. It should be mentioned that annually RussNeft allocates around 10 mln Rub. for organisation of summer camp for school children of Saratov region.
