PJSC “RUSSNEFT” HAS ALREADY ALLOCATED OVER 200 MILLION RUBLES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVITIES IN THE “ECOLOGY YEAR”

PJSC “RussNeft” continues to implement environmental activities in the “Ecology Year”. In H1 2017, the Company carried out nature protection activities in amount of over 200 million rubles.

In the reporting period, the Company’s producing subsidiaries implemented measures for air and water protection, industrial and domestic wastes disposal, prevention of emergency oil and oil products spills, associated gas utilization, contaminated soil reinstatement to meet the environmental requirements.

Under the approved program for removal of sludge pits, works were also performed at Fedushkinskoye, Grushevoye, Stolbovoye, Roslavlskoye, and Yuzhno-Roslavlskoye fields for an amount of 41.5 million rubles in the reporting period.

Totally, around 150 million rubles are planned to be allocated for implementation of the above stated program in 2017.

Besides, 30,214 cubic meters of drilling sludge were recycled into construction materials at Sredne-Shapshinskoye, Verkhne-Shapshinskoye, Tagrinskoye, and Poselkovoye fields in H1 2017.

Zero environmental accidents in PJSC “RussNeft” demonstrates efficiency of the preventative measures taken by the Company.

1750 employees of the Company’s subsidiaries have had HSE and fire-fighting trainings this year.
