PJSC “RussNeft” which is a part of SAFMAR Industrial and Financial Group of Mikhail Gutseriev, participated in the Green Spring 2018 All-Russia Ecological Clean-up Saturday. Saratovneftegaz, a subsidiary of the Company, brought in exemplary order a large area near the Central office on the slope of the Falcon mountain in Saratov, removing leaves and debris, painting fences and borders.

The Central office of Saratovneftegaz is located on one of the busiest highways of the Volga region and in close proximity to the Victory Park – a favorite vacation spot of citizens. It is here, on May 9, the main celebrations are traditionally held in honor of Victory Day, which involves thousands of veterans of the Great Patriotic war, home front workers, as well as youth – grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the glorious generation of winners.

RussNeft is convinced that the traditional annual spring clean-up events bring together colleagues even more and have a beneficial effect on the microclimate in the workforce, strengthening the corporate spirit.

However, a significant contribution to the improvement of the territories is not limited to community work days: as part of the implementation of their charitable program RussNeft and Saratovneftegaz annually provide significant financial support to a number of municipal districts, where their production facilities are located and operate. So, the oil workers care of Luzyanin Park for many years in Stepnoye, the center of the Soviet district, as well as the Central Park of the village Rovnoe. In addition, a new recreation area for residents of one of the youngest and fastest growing neighborhoods has been being developed in the village of Jubileiny of the Volga district in Saratov, in close proximity to the Zhar-ptitsa kindergarten, which was built in 2014 at the expense of RussNeft.

This year, the Company will continue to systematically carry out charitable activities in the areas of its presence. The facilities of the social sphere, which are experiencing a chronic shortage of budgetary allocations: hospitals, sports clubs, houses of culture, school and pre-school educational institutions, receive serious financial support.
