The establishment of the new faculties in MSU relates to the tendency of the recent years, as Viktor Sadovnichy told the guests of the ceremony. The idea of the education for the managers and highly-qualified specialists for the oil and gas industry appeared long time ago, but it was implemented in 2006 with the support of Mikhail Gutseriev, businessman and philanthropist. Thus MSU got a corporate faculty named “Graduate School of Innovative Business”. The students with the BA degrees learn a 2 year MA course here. The best graduates are guaranteed to have interesting and successful carrier in the oil and gas holding of Mikhail Gutseriev. If they wish, they can work in other companies or be involved into research. As Mikhail Gutseriev, Chairman of PJSC “RussNeft” Board of Directors, said many times, it is social significance that matters in this project. Expenses on training of highly-qualified specialists are paid off, and it is as much worthy that these projects allow young Russian people to develop their potential for the good of our country.
Within the last 12 years, starting from the day of establishment, nearly 140 specialists in geology, chemistry, management graduated from the corporate faculty of MSU (Graduate School of Innovative Business). Nearly half of them work successfully in PJSC “RussNeft” and Neftisa. The businessman also supports other outstanding educational projects. Thus annually around 30 graduates from Siberia and Volga region apply successfully to the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas after they complete training in educational centers organized by the oil and gas holding. 7 years ago Mikhail Gutseriev practically established a new university in Izhevsk, the Institute of Oil and Gas, which was named after him by the resolution of the scientific committee. More than a thousand of the young Russians have received a chance to develop professionally within the frame of such projects. These generations are followed by the others. MSU rector says that Mr. Gutseriev belongs to the group of entrepreneurs who have great minds and alongside with the benefits for their companies, they always put the benefit for Russia first. That is why the educational project with a 12 years history has been living and developing.
