PJSC “RussNeft” has replenished the fish resources of the Ob River basin by releasing 80.5 thousand fingerlings.
The release of nelma and muksun juveniles into the water body is carried out by the Tyumen branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography under the supervision of the state commission of the Lower Ob Territorial Administration of the Federal Agency for Fisheries.
Additionally, to compensate for damage to aquatic biological resources, the Ulyanovsk branch released sterlet juveniles into the Kuybyshev Reservoir.
RussNeft's investment in restocking the Ob-Irtysh fishery basin amounted to 5.6 million rubles in 2026. Annual compensation for damage caused to aquatic biological resources and their habitat in oil-producing regions allows for the systematic restoration of aquatic bioresources affected during the development of fields in Western Siberia.
