The “RussNeft” company financed the innovation project of the geological department at the Saratov State University. The project is called “Creation of the scientific and educational complex called ”New technologies of the mineral deposit research and rational exploitation of natural resources” and presupposes creation of two laboratories, one of petrophysics, the other of new methods of geophysical exploration.

The Group of companies of OAO “Belkamneft” (a subsidiary of OAO Oil and Gas company “RussNeft”) have summarized the operations over a period of 9 months in 2007. According to the company’s press-service, oil production in September exceeded the plan figures on 1 % totaling to 326, 909 thousand tons. In general, starting from the beginning of this year the actual volume of production exceeded the plan figures on 1,6% totaling to 3 million 607 thousand tons.
