Moscow, July 4. Interfax-ANI – At the annual meeting on June 27 the shareholders of Oil Company RussNeft OAO made the decision to withhold payment of the 2005 dividends and use the surplus earnings in the amount of 4.143 billion roubles for development, the company says in an official statement.

Penza – June 15. Interfax – NGDU Penzaneft OAO has become the winner at the auction for the right to use the subsoil of the Alexeyevskoye oilfield (found in the Kuznetsky district of the Penza region) with the object of exploration and crude oil extraction, the regional subsoil use agency of the Privolzhsk federal district says in a statement.

Orsknefteorgsintez, a subsidiary of Oil Company RussNeft OAO, has received the Maecenas Golden Award. The Guardian Council of the International Charity Fund “Maecenases of the Century” has made the decision to present the award to Orsknefteorgsintez for “the outstanding contribution to the revival of high cultural ideals and charity”.

Orenburg – June 14. Interfax – Oil Company RussNeft is going to deliver to Orsknefteorgsintez OAO, its subsidiary, wastewater treatment facilities valued at 50 million roubles, the company says in a press-release.
