RussNeft implementing reliability enhancement programme of pipeline systems
PJSC NK RussNeft is pursuing a reliability enhancement programme of pipeline systems at the fields of the Variogan oil block. The program includes monitoring, diagnostics, corrosion inhibition, as well as the maintenance of pipelines.
PJSC NK RussNeft is pursuing a reliability enhancement programme of pipeline systems at the fields of the Variogan oil block. The program includes monitoring, diagnostics, corrosion inhibition, as well as the maintenance of pipelines.
The program implementation has been assigned to JSC "Varieganneft", a subsidiary of the Company, which in 2019 is to conduct field diagnostics of 571 km pipeline system and 28 water crossings. The company has already replaced 7.1 km of various purposes pipelines and optimized more than 4 km of pipelines in the current year, leading to trouble-proof operation mode in oil gathering systems.
Internal pipeline cleaning technologies have been introduced at Varioganneft's sites. The coverage of oil-field pipeline fleet by cleaning is amounted to 18% or 233 km.
The program makes it possible to minimize emergency incidents, as well as to improve environmental situation at the Variogan block fields significantly.
