A holiday for Saratov children: “The Scarlet Flower” to be shown at the Youth Theater

The legend of Beauty and the Beast teaches us that we need to treat people with love and kindness, regardless of their appearance, and appreciate human`s soul. After all, a pretty face can hide an evil mind, while a caring heart can lurks behind ugliness. The fairy tale is about the need to cherish a kind attitude and judge people by their conduct. This year, a modern interpretation of a story familiar to everyone since childhood would be shown to Saratov children with the support of PJSC “RussNeft”, the press service of the oil company reported. “The Saratov branch of RussNeft could not stay aside and supported the production, loved by many generations. Traditionally, the theater invites children from large and low-income families to New Year's performances. The children will be able not only to watch a performance, which involves the leading artists of the Youth Theater, but also to take part in an interactive show with New Year’s characters, get charged with a festive mood, and reach out with their peers from different parts of the region,” company representatives specified in the release. The press service added that the Saratov branch is actively engaged in social and cultural projects of the region. In the outgoing year, RussNeft has supported significant cultural projects in Saratov: the XX International Documentary Melodrama Film Festival "Saratov Sufferings", the XI All-Russian Ruslanova Competition of Folk Song Performers, cultural and educational project-festival “Lessons of Tabakov”.
