Varioganneft, subsidiary of Gutseriev’s RussNeft, continues reclamation of oil-contaminated lands at the oilfields of Variogan oil block (VNB). It was reported by RussNeft.

In the first 4 months of 2020 Varioganneft disposed 6.49 thousand tons of oil sludge.

In order to reduce the risk of incidents on the pipelines the company constantly works on protecting pipelines from non-categorical failures using a whole complex of measures.

RussNeft pays great attention to environmental monitoring within the boundaries of its license areas.

 Surface and underground water, bottom sediments, atmospheric air, snow cover and soil studies are carried out by the specialists of the company's own accredited environmental protection laboratory and involved organizations specializing in environmental control.
