Khanty-Mansiysk. In 2013 OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, a subsidiary of the holding company OAO NK RussNeft, fully implemented social and economic agreements with Yugra’s municipal administrations on the territory of which the company is producing oil.
Oilmen support the most important social programmes of Khanty-Mansiysk, Octyabrskiy, Nizhnevartovsk, Nefteyugansk areas such as development of these areas, their maintenance and reconstruction of socially important facilities, protection of natural resources. 5.5 million rubles were invested for these purposes in 2013.
Moreover, last year heads of the tribal lands got compensations. Funds were allocated for the development of traditional activities, fuels, lubricants and construction materials, boats and outboard motors, snowmobiles, power generation plants and etc. Total amount of the investments surpassed 1.3 million rubles.
OAO NAK AKI-OTYR also finances charity and socially-oriented projects carried out by educational, cultural and sport institutions, social municipal organizations of war invalids and veterans, orphanages, kindergartens and schools.
Implementation of charity and sponsorship programmes is one of the priorities of social policy of the Company. Last year OAO NAK AKI-OTYR allocated more than 8 million rubles for these needs.
Overall, in 2014 OAO NK RussNeft and its production subsidiaries in Khanty-Mansiysk, are going to fund more than 65 million rubles for social programs and projects in the autonomous region.
