OAO NAK AKI-OTYR increases energy efficiency at the fields of Shapshinskaya group

Khanty-Mansiysk. November 13. OAO NAK AKI-OTYR, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary increases energy efficiency at the fields of Shapshinskaya group. All the activities are performed within the power saving program in 2013 and are targeted at power saving.

The company saved 1793.10 thousand kW hour with energy saving activities saving 5422.9 RUB. In particular 9 producing wells were improved: ESP installation with less productivity and less capacity. Partnered with OOO RGS the company commissioned 110 kW grid this August which allowed to unite Shapshinskaya group of fields into one grid and increase power supply to the customers.

Contribution of the company into development of energy efficient operation has been seen at the regional market as well. OAO NAK AKI-OTYR became the best power customer among industrial companies at the annual contest   Zolotaya Opora sponsored organized by OAO Tyumen power supply company.

In future the company also intends to focus on rational use of power. Prior to the end of the year the company plans to decrease power consumption by 269.054 thousand kW hour with ESP improvement, balancing units of static capacity banks.
