Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft, subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, held scheduled comprehensive drill for oil leak response at the company’s hazardous facilities, according to the press service of the company.
The drill was held at the oil treatment tank farm of NGDU 1. The drill was based on an assumed 7000 ton oil leak from a tank through a cracked weld at 2.5 meters elevation resulted from an over flow rate of oil supply to 10,000 m3 RVS № 6V tank.
The major purpose of the drill was to practice joint activities in case of natural or industrial emergencies.
The trainees were positively assessed by the observers – representatives of Chief Department of Ministry of Russian Federation for Emergencies in KhMAO-Yugra.
The systematic approach of OAO Varioganneft to prevention of emergencies at operation and administrative facilities allows to it to meet all legal requirements in the area of firefighting, civil defense and emergency response as well as the corporate safety standards of OAO NK RussNeft.
