ОАО NAK AKI-OTYR implements gas program in the fields of Shapsha Group.

Khanty-Mansiysk, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District. ОАО NAK AKI-OTYR, a subsidiary enterprise of OAO NK RussNeft, continues gas program implementation on the territory of Shapsha Group of fields.

Commissioning operations were completed so far in the power complex of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field. Some part of associated petroleum gas, which is produced, is delivered to gas power plant. It makes the basis for the electric power production. Today, electricity is already given to booster pump station (electric energy consumption is about 1 MW).
Diesel generators were formerly used to provide light and warmth to the oilfield. In the near future a phased transition from gas power plants to electric power plants is planned in all cluster sites of Verkhne-Shapshinskoye field.
With the commissioning of this facility the subsidiary will significantly improve the ecological situation in the developing fields of Shapsha Group, and will also get positive economic benefits.
