24.07.2013 Interfax

Tomsk. OOO Tomskaya neft (subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft (PTC: RUSN) in Tomsk region) intends to increase the oil production by 11% to 1.16 mln tons.

Nail Garipov, Director General of the company, told Interfax that Srednevasyuganskoye field and Muromsky-1 area purchased this year will add around 10 thousand tons of oil to the expected annual volume.

“The originally expected production was 1.15 mln tons, without them. But they will give around 10 thousand tons extra”, N. Garipov said. He stated that the daily production rate in the new areas was only 25 tons at the time of purchase but it has increased to 38 tons by now.

“As for further development – we are in the process of drafting a program. We will need to perform a complex of studies on those fields, there have been no geophysical works there for a long time. The scope of the program will be very vast”, N. Garipov mentioned.

According to him, the program for Srednevasyuganskoye field and Muromsky-1 area development will be ready by the year end. As stated earlier, in 2013 Tomskaya neft purchased 100% of the charter capitals of two legal entities – holders of licenses for neighboring hydrocarbon areas Muromsky-1 (OOO Muromskoye) and Srednevasyuganskoye field (OOO Sredne-Vasyuganskoye).

Both fields are located in Kargask district of Tomsk region near Sredny Vasyugan settlement. The C3 oil reserves (recoverable) in Muromsky area are 0.9 tons, the C1 gas reserves are 0.6 bcm. Resources of Srednevasyuganskoye field were not stated.
