Izhevsk. Construction of the dormitory for students of the oil and gas institute of Udmurtia State University is near completion.
Completion of the main works is expected by August 15, and commissioning of the facility is scheduled by September 1. Finishing works are in progress now. According to Sergey Shikalov, Construction minister of Udmurtia Republic, the dormitory will be able to accommodate 339 people. It will have rooms for 2-3 people, laundries on each floor, kitchens, buffet and gymnasium. It is to be noted that construction of the dormitory is sponsored by Mikhail Gutseriev, famous Russian businessman, who is invited for the house-warming ceremony.
