International dance competition
Izhevsk. International sport ballroom dancing competition, the President of Udmurtia cup tie was held in Olympiyez in the capital of Udmurtia on May 4-5.
Judges and dance couple from Italy, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, Latvia, Litany, Moldovia, Ukraine, The Republic of Belarus, Georgia and Russia participated in the competition. Many of the foreign sportsmen are the winners of the local competitions. Around 1500 people were took part in the competitions, judge panels and exhibition performances.
The participants are aged between 5 and older.
Sportsmen from Privolzhsky federal district, Ural district, Central district, Northern and Western districts of Moscow were also among the participants. Dance couples from Udmurtia took part in the competition. Current champions of Russia, world champions and Europe champions were invited to the exhibition performances. They performed at the closing show of the competition. The competition was supported by Mikhail Gutseriev, President OAO NK RussNeft.
