Izhevsk. The Seventh intellectual game schoolchildren championship was opened in the village of Galanovo. This tournament was arranged by Izevsk club for intellectual games “What? Where? When?”and sponsored by the Administration of Karakulinsky district and OAO Belkamneft, a subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft.
Thirteen teams from nine municipal units went for a prize for the seventh time. According to the results of 24 questions ( a sportive analogous of the popular game show “What? Where? When?” ) the team “Pound of Raisns” from Karakulinsky school was recognized the best. The kids gave correct answers to 16 questions. Their schoolmates – the team “Brigade”- took the second place (13 points). The team “6 Shots” from Cheganda” was the third. One more team from Karakulinsky – “On All Cylinders” took the fourth place.
Ilya Shadrin (“Pound of Raisins”) was the winner of the individual tournament “Jeopardy”, Regina Rakhmatullina (“On All Cylinders”) was the second and Marina Korneeva (“Pound of Raisins”) took the third place. She outran Igor Iskakov (“Success”, Nyrgyndinskaya school) in the tour of supplementary questions. All the winners received prizes from Belkamneft.
The best teams of the tournament will participate in the Eights Open Intellectual Games Schoolchildren Championship of Iizhevsk which will be held on October, 14.
Social support of the regions of OAO Belkamneft business activity is an integral part of the company’s policy. Within social agreements annually signed with municipal units social, economic and industrial problems of the districts are resolved, socially important projects receive support. In 2012 Belkamneft is planning to assign for these purposes more than 15 million rubles.
