OAO Belkamneft held an environmental event by the International Day of Older Persons

Izhevsk. On the eve of the International Day of Older Persons, employees of OAO Belkamneft, OAO NK RussNeft subsidiary, jointly with residents of Ustinov district of Izhevsk, planted over 40 trees in the “Alley of good”. Representatives of Ustinov district administration also participated in the event.

“Alley of good” was set up by Belkamneft in Ustinov district of Izhevsk in 2010. It has become a good tradition since then to plant new trees there on the eve of the International Day of Older People.

Support to the socially vulnerable people including veterans and retired employees is a part of the corporate social policy of NK RussNeft and its subsidiaries. OAO Belkamneft takes part in implementation of many socially important charitable and sponsorship programs of the republic. NK RussNeft and OAO Belkamneft helped to restore churches, erect a new building for the Institute of oil and gas of Udmurtia State University, set up and equip computer class-rooms in schools, build modern children playgrounds, support cultural, sports and health care institutions as well as socially vulnerable people in Udmurtia. RussNeft holding intends to allocate over 200 million rubles for charitable projects in the republic alone in the current year.
