Saratov. OAO Saratovneftegaz, production subsidiary of OAO NK RussNeft, replaces the exhausted 8-km section of the “NSP-22 – Stepnovskie GS” gas pipeline (with the total length of 121 km) within the program for the associated gas efficient utilization.
This will allow in Summer to redirect the gas from the sour gas treatment unit of the Limano-Grachevskoe and Belokamennoe fields to the suction of the gas compression station for its further injection into Stepnovskoe underground gas storage.
Implementation of this item in the gas program of OAO Saratovneftegaz will allow to operate the sour gas treatment unit at full capacity. Besides, this will help to reduce the sour gas volume burnt in excess of the established rates as well as increase the gas sales to the populations of the Rovensky and Engelsky districts of the Saratov region and a number of settlements of the Volgograd region.
Construction and upgrade of the top-priority utilities facilities allowing a significant increase of the associated gas efficient utilization (up to 95% of utilization) are the prior task of the gas program of OAO NK RussNeft. The capital investment for its implementation in the Povolzhsky region in 2011 was 215 million rubles.
The program for efficient and fullest utilization of gas, implemented in OAO Saratovneftegaz, will not only bring a notable economic effect but also help to improve the environment situation in the areas of the fields under development.
