Varioganneft is implementing geological and engineering operations program for 2012

Raduzhny, KhMAO. OAO Varioganneft is successfully implementing geological and engineering operations program for 2012 aimed at oil recovery increase at the oilfields of Variogan oil block. From the beginning of the year the company has performed 40 GEOs which has brought Varioganneft extra oil production in amount of 18.262 thousand tons

As of today at Variogan block there have been performed 8 hydraulic fracturings, 3 wells have been converted to injection. Besides, 5 wells have been restored to production; production conditions at 6 wells have been optimized, 14 wells have undergone bottomhole acidizing.
Maximal effect have been obtained from return of wells to other horizons. Thus, due to return of well No 5360 at pad No 103 of Variogan oilfield to horizon A7-8    the resulting initial flow rate amounted to 100 tons per day.  During the first two months of 2012 the oilmen of Variogan block performed return works at 5 wells.
Implementation of the GEO program exercises a significant influence over hydrocarbon stock output increase. In 2012 Varioganneft is planning to perform 342 GEOs, which will bring the company extra production in amount of about 387 thousand tons.
