“Arguments and facts Ulyanovsk”
Ulyanovsk. OAO “Ulyanovskneft” was recognized as one of the best organizations – users of natural resources according to the results of the regional contest “Environmentalist of the year”. The annual regional competition “Environmentalist of the year” is held with the purpose of enhancing and promotion of activities of organizations and citizens in the sphere of environmental protection in Ulyanovsk Region.
OAO “Ulyanovskneft” won the third place in the nomination “The best organization – natural resources user”. Moreover, the second place in the nomination “The best ecologist of the organization-user of natural resources” was awarded to the leading ecologist of the enterprise L.I.Ogurok. Winners of the competition were determined by the authoritative competition committee, composed of the representatives of the Executive and legislature, representatives of OAO “Ulyanovskgosexpertiza’, well-known public figures. Criteria in selecting the winners were as follows: the significance of the solvable problems by the contestant, innovation and originality in organizing activity, socio-environmental effectiveness and the degree of personal involvement in resolving the problems of environmental protection.
Environmental protection in areas of OAO “Ulyanovskneft” activity is an important condition for the successful development of the enterprise. For 9 months of 2011 to perform environmental protection activities Ulyanovsk oil industry workers allocated more than 42 million rubles.
