Moscow. The president of OAO NK "РуссНефть" Michael Gutseriev is pronounced the winner of the contest «the Best CEO-2011» in the nomination "Mining Operations", annually spent within the frames of the All-Russia public award «Leaders of Russian economy».
The award founded in 2003, is one of the prestigious public awards defining the level of management of leading industrial and financial structures of the country. Among winners of the award there are heads of the companies who managed to make break in their branch and to apply management high technologies most effectively.
The organizing committee of the award includes heads of ministries and departments, leading experts in the spheres of economy and industry, well-known businessmen.
In the course of selection of participants the organizing committee first of all assessed personal merits of a manager in regard to success of the company, novelty and efficiency of management methods, coherence of actions. Besides, transactions and large-scale projects of the companies within a year and the achieved industrial and financial results are also estimated.
The award is a recognition of Michael Gutseriev’s contribution in development of OAO NK "РуссНефть", which managed in short terms not only to stop reduction of production indices, but also to reach positive production results.
