Saratov. The team of OAO “Saratovneftegas” in quantity of 8 sportsmen participated in light athletic race “Olympic Day of Run” for the prizes of the Governor of the Saratov Region. Olga Shishova, an employee of “Saratovneftegas” took the third prize in her nomimation.
Corporative mass sports are one of the important components of social police of OAO “Saratovneftegas” (a subsidiary of OAO NK “RussNeft”). Twice a year – in summer and in winter – “Saratovneftegas” arranges races and hundreds of the employees of the company take part in them.
The support the oilmen render to sports is not limited by intra-corporate competitions. “RyssNeft” traditionally supports sporting events in the Saratov region, it is a priority of social policy of the oil and gas company. For example, “RussNeft” and its subsidiary “Saratovneftegas” in 2006-2010 sponsored in Saratov 5 intra-regional kickboxing tournaments. In 2010 “RussNeft” and “Saratovneftegas” acted as general sponsprs of the IX football tournament among neighborhood teams for the Governor’s Cup, the participants of which became children from many districts of the Saratov Region. “RussNeft” assigned to Balakovo club “Turbina” – one of the leaders of Russian speedway – 1 million rubles.
