The fire broke out at night om September 18-19, spreading of fire hut in jeopardy the villages Svirino, Moanstyrsky Sungur, Troitsky Sungur, settlement of Novospasskoye.
During five days the Ulianovsk oilmen together with the fire-fighting squads of the region and the forces of the Ministry of Emergencieswere opposing the flames. Due to competent and well coordinated work of the team the fire was extinguished. For their courage, heroism and selflessness the employees of OAO “Ulianovskneft” A.N.Antilov, S.V. Babin, A.V.
