Nizhnevartovsk, KhMAO — Yugra. OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologiya (NK  RussNeft subsidiary) expands the gas energy complex and the power supply system at Yeguriyakhskoye field. Two gas-piston power generating units were launched at the oilfield.

Yeguriyakhskoye ofield production facilities are not connected to the external power supply grid. The field is fully supplied with electrical power from independent sources running on APG.

The project of expanding the energy complex involved construction of two GE Jenbacher gas-piston generating units designed based on Yeguriyakhskoye field APG composition, 1600 kW redundant diesel power station, 6 kV high-voltage switch gear as well as automatic process control and electrical power commercial accounting systems.

Commissioning of the two new gas-piston generating units allowed to increase the total generating capacity and production volume of electrical power, increased the APG utilization and decreased the oil production expenses. The company intends to continue introduction of effective energy technologies based on APG utilization.
