Aganneftegazgeologia implements sludge pits abandoning program

Nizhnevartovsk. KhMAO. OAO MPK Aganneftegazgeologia (subsidiary of RussNeft) implements a program for sludge decontamination and sludge pits abandoning at Roslavlskoye and Eguryakhskoye licenses.

Activities for sludge decontamination were carried out at Eguryakhskoye field Well Pad 4. 3.2 thousand cubic meters of drilling wastes were decontaminated. Works on decontamination and sludge pits abandoning at Vostochno-Golevoye field Well Pad 5 and Roslavlskoye field Well Pad 15 will start soon. Total volume of the decontaminated sludge in 2015 will be over 14.5 thousand cubic meters.
Sludge pits abandoning works at the company’s operation facilities have a planned and phased nature. In 2014, sludge pits were abandoned at Roslavlskoye field Well Pads 5, 19 and 20 and Golevoye field Well Pad 1. Total area of the reinstated land was over 1.1 hectares. 11.8 thousand cubic meters of sludge were decontaminated.
The company intends to continue drilling wastes treatment and sludge pits abandoning at its licenses, according to OAO MPK ANGG press-service.
