PJSC “RussNeft” continues to support regional sports initiatives. In the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, the Company supported the Open Boxing Championship for the Nizhnevartovsky District Head’s Cup.
Over 120 athletes reportedly participated in the event. Boxers from the Nizhnevartovsky district, Surgut, Nefteyugansk, Megion, Nizhnevartovsk, Lyantor, and Langepas, as well as from the Sverdlovsk and Tomsk oblasts, all challenged for the win.
With RussNeft’s support, the children's football club "Neftyanik" also competed in all-Russian competitions. The team took first place in the "Finist Summer Cup" tournament, winning all matches in its age group (7–8 years old). In addition, at the VI All-Russian Football Tournament "Battle of Regions," the young footballers from Ulyanovsk took second place in the group stage.
The football club "Neftyanik" was founded in 2003 in the working settlement of Novospasskoye, Novospassky district, Ulyanovsk oblast, with the support of RussNeft. The club trains more than 200 children aged 7 to 17.
Supporting sports projects is also part of the company's social programs aimed at providing opportunities for self-realization and talent development, building an effective system for identifying, supporting, and developing the abilities of children and youth, as well as guiding their professional orientation.
