Qualified specialists are the basis for technological development and economic growth in the country. Professionals and masters of their craft are the driving force behind enterprises in all sectors of the economy.

Russian companies continue to intensify their efforts in training their own highly qualified specialists, while also sharing their own expertise in establishing an effective career guidance system. PJSC “RussNeft” reported its continued collaboration with vocational educational institutions. The goal is to build human resources for the secondary professional education system. To this end, the company's Ulyanovsk branch, in partnership with the Ulyanovsk Railway Technicum, has created a new program for training mid-tier specialists for the region's oil production industry. For its part, the oil company supported the educational institution by equipping classrooms and providing educational and demonstration materials for students who begin their oil and gas studies in September. Furthermore, it is planned to sign apprenticeship contracts with students in the new program, with the possibility of their subsequent employment at RussNeft's Ulyanovsk branch. At present, significant changes have taken place in Russian colleges and technical schools: new equipment has been installed in workshops and laboratories, digital technologies are used, and the emphasis is placed on training in the most in-demand specialties so that young people have the opportunity to start earning and building their careers. All this makes working professions more popular among graduates. As a reminder, 3.9 million students are already studying in the secondary vocational education system.
